It’s inviting, isn’t it? 🙂 We’ve walked it a few times – it leads from a low-lying village Fairbourne, with its narrow gauge railway attraction, across to the mainline railway bridge over the Mawddach estuary (which you can walk over) to Barmouth, where we can catch the train back to where we usually stay on the coast.

Naturally I had to check the map to see where exactly that is in Wales. I went for a drive up the A470 on one of my trips, so I got reasonably close to you. I have very fond memories of sitting outside a pub watching the sunset over the water somewhere along the west coast there.

Sunsets over the sea here, especially in late summer, can be quite dramatic and spectacular, as we saw on our most recent visit!
