I too, took some shots of this month’s crescent moon – my eye caught by it’s brilliance and also by the colours of the sky. Perhaps with the fine weather at the time, the skies were particularly stunning in those moments just before darkness.

The stillness and the clarity of the skies was (and largely still is, despite blustery weather and cumulus clouds) a joy, and the moon in its various phases and the sight of a few planet’s helped gladden the heart.
