Statue (1852) of Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington, mounted on his favourite horse Copenhagen in front of Register House, Princes Street, Edinburgh. Local sculptor John Steell [sic] was given the commission in 1842 while Wellington (1769–1852) was still alive.
