Me too! But why oh why do stationers no longer stock plain old-fashioned school exercise books? It’s either skimpy notebooks with snazzy covers aimed at the pre-teen market, spiral-boumd reporters notepads, ruled tear-off A4 notepaper pads, or expensive Moleskine leather-bound jobbies I’d be scared to disfigure with my scribbles and scratchings-out!
